Board Member Responsibilities

Attend Regular Board Meetings
Participate in scheduled meetings to review community matters, approve budgets, and vote on resolutions.

Uphold Governing Documents
Enforce the community's Declaration, Bylaws, and Rules & Regulations fairly and consistently under Florida Chapter 720.

Oversee the Community Budget
Review financial statements, approve expenditures, and help plan for long-term capital improvements and reserves.

Manage Vendors & Maintenance
Work with Vista Association Management and vendors to ensure common areas, the pool, and shared infrastructure are well-maintained.

Represent Your Neighbors
Act in the best interest of all 324 homeowners — listening to concerns, communicating decisions, and fostering a positive community environment.
⏱ Time Commitment

Board members typically dedicate 3–5 hours per month — including one monthly meeting plus occasional follow-up on community matters. Elections are held annually at the HOA Annual Meeting in accordance with Florida Chapter 720.
